Places of Interest to Visit.

Kent and East Sussex is quite literally full of  History.
Owing to its outstanding beauty, and its geographic importance to the defence of the realm, and its proximity to London ( the centre of Trade and Culture) and to the main Sea Ports.Kent and East Sussex have played an important role in the evolution of the whole country. Kings and Queens have used it for their playground as well as for the defence of the nation. Indeed the area was the foremost constructor of the Naval ships at one time, being rewarded with the towns designated as the Cinque Ports. Trade brought wealth and the influential people of the times who have left us a legacy in the form of Villages, Castles, Towns, and Ancient Monuments. In more modern times the tradition has continued . The area abounds with Museums, Vineyards, Pinetums, beautiful beaches and quaint Fishing Ports, and many other fascinating things to enable your stay to be truly memorable.
