Fresh fruit picked from our garden and stewed.

Prunes, natural yoghurt.

A selection of cereals. 

 Home made white or brown bread-plain or toasted.

Croissants or Brioche.

(Served with Home Made Preserves or Local Cheese.)


Free range eggs—fried, scrambled, boiled or poached.

Butchers smoked bacon.

Farm sausages.

Vegetarian Sausages.

Black pudding.

Tomatoes from our garden.

Mushrooms.

Avocado with a secret sauce topped with crispy bacon served on a bed of lettuce.

Fresh figs served on a bed of lettuce with Palma ham dressed with a Balsamic dressing.

Hot cheese soufflés.

Hot Piedmont Peppers.

Spinach Roulade filled with crème fraiche & smoked trout.


Main Course.

 

Game in season.

 Braised Beef Cheeks with Parsnip Gratin.

Pork served with apple and celery in a cider sauce.

Roasted Kent lamb cooked with Rosemary, anchovy & garlic.

    Served with a  red wine & red current gravy.
All served with Seasonal Vegetables.

Dessert.

 

Date & Walnut pudding, light & spongy, with a toffee topping.

Crème Brulee with raspberries from our garden.

 Gooseberry Bombe – like an ice cream but made with crushed meringues & Greek yoghurt.

18th Century receipe of an Apple Tart.

All served with Cream or Ice Cream.
